Estampa Interview

A few months ago, the amazing Leticia Burgos interviewed me about my work in handmade paper for Estampa, the online journal of contemporary art of the Universidad de Cuyo. Yesterday I got the news that the article had been published! The journal can be read in full here, my feature starts on page 89, text is in Spanish.

This is completely thrilling for me. Click on the images for larger view. I am so honored and grateful to Leticia for this. Muchisimas gracias, mi amiga y comadre!

Letterpress in my life again

Work-in-progress on Future Tense (see the beginnings here) while printing at Gazelle and Goat with Rhiannon. When all is said and done, this book I believe will have handmade paper from invasive plants, pulp painting, reduction linoleum block prints, letterpress, inkjet and possibly screen printing. Quite a mix of technologies. Aaaaannnd, it's going to take a while to finish, to do it right, of course!

In other news - I'm going to have a solo show in March! It will be called Now Here This, and will feature prints and collage of the past year or so. The exhibition will be at the UC Berkeley Extension Faculty Gallery, located at 95 Third Street in San Francisco, right across the street from the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. There will be a reception the evening of March 20 - I hope some of you can make it!
